Information about the fire at Frantz Gym
I wanted to follow up from Mondays post about the fire. Yesterday the front of Frantz Gym was being boarded up. Here is the official story according to The Daily Herald. They think it was arson. It wouldn't surprise me since the place has been for sale for the past 5 years with no bites.

I thought you would get a kick out of this.
I had a friend send this story over to me and I thought it was hilarious. I wanted to share it to give all of you a good laugh. This is why you don't cheat on a tattoo artist.

Tattoo shop closed due to fire at Franz's Gym
To all our loyal customers we apologize for being closed today. At approximately 2 p.m. Franz Gym located next to our tattoo shop on Broadway caught fire. The smoke was getting very thick and was starting to come into the shop. At 2:45 the police came in and told us that we would need to evacuate. "It looked like it was sunset because it was so dark in-front of the shop," said Mikey our piercer. The police closed all businesses in the direct area close to the fire. The streets were closed on Broadway between Downer and Benton which created a mess in the downtown area. Don could not get his truck out so he caught a ride with Mikey to Bally Doyle to have a few beers and wait it out. We were just aloud back into the shop a few minutes ago so we have decided to call it a day. We will be opening bright and early tomorrow (1:00 pm in the tattoo world) to serve our customers in getting their tattoos and piercings. As always we welcome walk-ins if you do not already have an appointment.
